All Covered Costs
$0 out-of-pocket
All medical expenses, health insurance premiums, co-pays, and related costs are fully covered. You will never pay out of pocket for anything related to the surrogacy.
Additional Allowances
Extra Benefits
+$5K–$15K
Monthly allowances for maternity clothing, travel, housekeeping, lost wages, childcare, and other journey-related needs — all clearly outlined in your contract.

Total typical compensation: up to $90,000 — All compensation is discussed transparently before you commit. We walk you through every number so you know exactly what to expect from day one. Experienced surrogates may qualify for higher base compensation.

Have had at least one successful pregnancy and currently be raising a child

Be a non-smoker and live in a smoke-free home

Have a healthy BMI as determined by your OB-GYN

Be financially stable and not receiving government assistance

Have a reliable support system — partner, family, or close friends — around you during the journey

Pass a full medical and psychological evaluation completed by our team

Use antidepressants or medications that are contraindicated with pregnancy

Will I be genetically related to the baby?+
No. As a gestational surrogate with Proven Path, you carry the baby but have no genetic connection to them. The embryo is created using the intended parents' or donors' eggs and sperm — not yours.
How long does the surrogacy process take?+
From application to delivery, the average surrogacy journey takes 18–24 months. The first 3–6 months typically involve screening and matching, followed by legal and medical preparation, and then the pregnancy itself.
Can I have my own children while being a surrogate?+
Yes — in fact, having your own children is a requirement. You must have at least one previous successful pregnancy. Many surrogates have young children at home during their journey, and we provide childcare allowances to help.
Will I have a relationship with the intended parents?+
That's entirely up to you and the intended parents. Some surrogates and families form close, lasting friendships. Others prefer a more formal arrangement. We honor whatever boundaries you're most comfortable with and facilitate open communication.
What happens if I have a miscarriage or complications?+
Your health and safety are always our top priority. In the event of complications, miscarriage, or other difficulties, you will receive full medical and emotional support. Your compensation protections are also clearly outlined in your legal contract from the beginning.
Can I choose the intended parents I work with?+
Absolutely. The matching process is mutual. You'll review potential intended parent profiles and meet with them before making any commitment. You are never required to move forward with a match that doesn't feel right to you.
